Extrapharma Participates in FAO Workshop on Procurement and Tendering System

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with international organizations, Extrapharma for Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies took part in the introductory workshop organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Yemen. The event was held on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Coral Hotel – Aden, with the attendance of various suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers from across the country.

The workshop highlighted key aspects of FAO’s procurement and tendering system, including:
• General procedures for contracting and participating in tenders
• How to register and search for opportunities via the UNGM/In-Tend platform
• Guidelines for preparing competitive bids based on best practices
• Q&A session addressing participants’ inquiries regarding FAO’s requirements and conditions

This participation provided Extrapharma with a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insight into FAO’s procurement mechanisms and reaffirm its commitment to adhering to international quality standards, transparency, and fair competition practices.
